21 Father’s Day Gifts He’ll Love

If you’re like me, it is difficult to find Father’s Day gifts that are REALLY good. When I started my Pinterest boards for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, I had no problems finding great ideas for Mother’s Day. There were brunch ideas and flowers, cute printables, and wonderful crafts.

But Father’s Day was not so easy. My husband is not one of those guys who is difficult to buy for, but I couldn’t imagine him getting excited over an art piece by our toddler. I mean, he would like it, but let’s be honest, I’m the one who would end up sighing over it as the years go by.

But never fear, I searched the internet for you, my creative friends, and found this lovely collection of Father’s Day gifts to {hopefully} save the day. So without further ado, here’s the list:

Father’s Day Gifts He’ll Use

  1. Is there such a thing as a guy who doesn’t like to barbecue? I didn’t think so. This recipe for homemade spicy chipotle BBQ sauce from Mariah at Giggles Galore would be a great way to kick off the summer BBQ season. She even includes a printable tag—perfect!
  2. This gorgeous Leather Mason Jar Sleeve from A Beautiful Mess would be perfect for his early morning cup of coffee. You could fill the empty mug with chocolate chip cookies to make this present even more sweet.
  3. I love Shrinky Dinks, and these Father’s Day crafts from Oh Happy Day do not disappoint. I usually sketch designs on Shrinky Dink paper but I love her idea to use photographs. So fun!
  4. Melissa Mortenson from the Polka Dot Chair shares this great zippered travel pouch tutorial that would be perfect if dad travels a lot for work.
  5. This DIY shaving cream from The Chic Site sounds amazing. Have you ever made something like this? I’d be tempted to make it for him and then steal it for me. 🙂
  6. And finally, here’s a gorgeous leather wallet for his iPhone he will definitely use.

Father’s Day Gifts from the Heart

  1. Everyone needs encouragement, right? Make him a set of encouragement cards and tuck them in his briefcase or wallet during Father’s Day week.
  2. Write out the many ways he is a great dad. Use the alphabet, “A is for Awesome”, etc. or a write a list, “The Top 25 Ways You’re The Best Dad Ever.”
  3. The Dating Divas created an “All About You” basket with free printables that would make a great Father’s Day gift.
  4. If you would like to encourage him as a father, I’ve heard great things about The Blessing by Gary Smalley. It is on my list to buy this year.

Father’s Day Gifts He’ll Love . . . to Eat

The great thing about food gifts is YOU get to enjoy them too. Right? And these will not disappoint! I think we might have to celebrate Father’s Day week this year to get them all in.

  1. These blueberry bars from Baking Beauty with a cup of coffee would be an amazing way to start off the day.
  2. We still have some leftover frozen blackberries from last summer’s harvest, which makes me think we might have to make these blackberry coconut scones for second breakfast. We will, of course, take a very long walk afterwards so we can work up our appetites for our next meal. 😉
  3. Which will be a picnic on the back porch with these sandwiches from Say Yes and a tall glass of amazing watermelon lime lemonade from The House That Lars Built. Just looking at that watermelon lemonade makes me so happy.
  4. For dinner, maybe we could have a bruschetta bar like the one at What’s Gaby Cooking for dinner. (You know, to save room for the best meal of the day, dessert.)
  5. Which brings me to dessert. Choosing one treat is difficult but my latest love are these Flourless Mexican Chocolate Brownies from Spoonful of Flavor. I recently made them without the frosting, and they are so incredibly good I wished once again that chocolate was up there with vegetables in the food groups.

Father’s Day Gifts from the Kids

  1. These Father’s Day Typography glasses would be fun to print off for the whole family for a photo shoot. You could also fold them and tuck them into a card (or they could be the card). I love, love, love these!
  2. Formia Design creates keychains using your kid’s scribbles as a template. People are so smart, aren’t they? Love these too!
  3. Tiny Me has you covered for free Father’s Day printables. I love the tie bunting, candy wrapper, and coupons. So fun!
  4. Every time I see these photo bookmarks, I start giggling. I’m sure dad would be amused too.
  5. This bottle cap birdhouse from Kids Stuff world would be a fun project for older kids to make.
  6. And last, but certainly not least, bky kid creates play mat t-shirts for dad that will give him a mini massage. Genius.

So there you go, 21 Father’s Day gift ideas that are delicious, creative, and just plain fun! I hope you enjoyed these as much as I did.
