UPDATE: As of March 2016, we’ve decided to put our Etsy shop on hold and list these printables in our Gumroad shop instead. I’ve updated the links in this post to reflect the new shop location. Same price, same printable, just a different location. Thanks for your support! 🙂
Hello! This morning we launched My Little Girl Designs on Etsy. My husband and I have been working on ideas for this shop for a while and are excited to finally open the doors to all of you! (p.s. as noted above, we decided to close shop on Etsy and move over to Gumroad in March 2016. Mostly because we had the rest of our products on Gumroad so it just made sense. These printables are still available, but are in a different ‘home’ now. :))
After I created the ABC book for our daughter, I received so much positive feedback about it that I began to think about making a printable for the nursery. My husband is a graphic designer and thought that taking my sketches and adding alphabet letters in a collage would be a nice touch. We played around with colors and decided to release a girl, boy, and neutral version. I just love them.
These ABC printables would be a unique addition to your nursery or if you don’t have children, they would be a sweet baby shower gift. All you have to do is purchase the print, print it out on your own printer or at a print shop, and frame it in a sweet frame.
Here’s the girl version with a bright pink border (this one is in our daughter’s room now!) I like to hold her so she can see the print and we read through the alphabet letters and pictures together. She loves this.
The boy version has a turquoise border. I love anything turquoise or teal. Reminds me of the ocean.
And for the neutral version, we chose a muted gray. I’ve noticed a lot of people are decorating with gray as an accent color so if you (or the mom-to-be you’re buying for) are more inclined to soft, muted colors this would be the perfect fit.
Since these items are high-quality printables, once you purchase them, you will be sent a pdf as well as a jpg file. You can print them on your own home printer or take them to a place like Kinkos and they can easily print them for you. I do recommend printing them on a nicer paper rather than normal printer paper (though they do turn out nicely on regular old copy paper! :))
I’m so excited about this little venture. Originally, we were tempted to wait until we had a full shop of beautiful and fun printables to share but then realized we just needed to do the thing. Our plan is to release new printables to the shop throughout the year (at least every other month if not more.) So be sure to stop by the My Little Girl Designs shop and look around. I’ll be adding more items soon and will be sure to let my readers know first since you guys are all so sweet.
Have a lovely day!
