How I Use the Mollie Ollie Mimmo Caddy

My New Mollie Ollie organizer is inspiring me to take more creative retreats! I love how everything is so accessible, and I can carry it anywhere with me. LOVE!

See that girl above? That’s what I felt like when I realized all of my journals (okay, the current ones) could fit in one happy place in my new Mollie Ollie Mimmo caddy. They graciously sent me one to review, and I want to share a bit about it with you today.

But first, how I’m going to use it.

I talk all the time about how having what you need for your creative projects near and accessible is half the battle in regularly creating. Many of us put off creative time because assembling all the things every time we have a minute is exhausting.

Now I have my watercolor crayons, inks, favorite go-to pens, journals, and Bible in one happy place. Whenever I have a minute in the day, I pull out a couple of items and play. Seeing everything neatly organized does something for me too. Call me crazy but it actually makes me want to create when I’m not digging through a stash in a drawer.

The caddy is felt with a fabric interior and comes completely flat. Once opened, you have the option to place in one or two fabric dividers which are attached by Velcro. I did this because I wanted to section off my journals from art supplies and books.

The outside of the caddy has pockets, pockets, and more pockets. One end pocket even has a zipper and a place for pens, or in my case, markers.

We are a book-lovin’ and art-makin’ family, so having an organizer like this makes my heart sing. After filling it with all the things for my creative retreat time, I placed it next to the couch where I sip tea and eat breakfast every morning.

I was actually surprised at how spacious this little organizer is. I put in book after book until it was stuffed (then took out some so you could see things better for the photos, haha.)

After seeing my kiddo’s enthusiastic reaction (read: she wanted it for herself), I realized it would also be a good carrier to have for the car. Because of the open design, it will be easy for her to reach in to grab a sketchbook or book rather than digging through her bag pack (which almost always slides onto the floor at one point or another.)

Though this caddy has “diaper bag” as one of its titles on Amazon, don’t be fooled. It’s a great craft, planner, road trip, and creative time organizer! I think you’ll really love it!

Have a lovely {and creative} day!
