YES to online art classes that anyone can take! I'm a busy mom and love being creative but don't have time to drive all over town to take a class. These classes are my favorite so far. I've taken several, and they're awesome!

Daily Drawing Online Art Classes

Oh my goodness. Where do I even start? These online art classes are so much fun, you’ll find yourself taking one and then another, and then treating yourself to just one more . . . Seriously, they’re addictive.

CreativeBug started a series last year of Daily Drawing Challenges where different artists shared their techniques in a class form for 30 days. Images began cropping up all over Instagram from beginner to advanced artists, and my interest was piqued.

I’ve taken CreativeBug classes before (like this class by Lisa Congdon), and the quality is excellent. You feel like you’re right there with the instructor. If you miss something, you can rewind the video. If your kid needs your help, you can hit pause and start over later.

Basically, it’s a mom’s dream for an art class.

It’s also any busy person’s dream. You don’t have to fight traffic to show up. If you’re an introverted-introvert, you don’t have to think up small talk beforehand. And if you’re working full time, you can take your class at odd times of the day—like your lunch hour. 🙂

When you sign up for one of these classes at CreativeBug, you get the first one FREE, and then can continue taking classes for $4.95/month.

By the way, that price for an art class is unheard of. I’ve paid 10x as much for basic painting classes where I had to drive across town and find parking at rush hour. And you get to learn from the best of the best. I can’t even believe some of the artists they have teaching on CreativeBug. I seriously stalk, I mean, follow, all of them on Instagram. 😉

What’s five bucks when you can have creativity at your fingertips?
