You guys! We did it! YOU did it! We just finished 30 days of sending mail out into the world for April’s letter writing month and for the challenge we had going here on the blog. I’ve been so amazed and inspired by the amount of generosity you all have. I mean, look at this screenshot from the #30DayMailboxLove hashtag on Instagram. So much talent and love, I can hardly take it.
I LOVE how each of you took this challenge and then just went for it. How some of you wrote a letter every single day for April and how some of you wrote five letters. Whatever you did, know that it mattered (and continues to matter.) Who knows what a simple message from you meant in your friends’ lives at this time.
I think that’s what resonates with me so much with letter writing. I know that there have been many times when a letter ended up making my day, and there have also been times when I’ve found an old letter and have been encouraged all over again. You just never know!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a part of this challenge, for writing letters, and for being such a fun group. We’ve definitely proved that snail mail isn’t quite extinct yet. 🙂
For those of you who are just reading this post and thinking, “Oh no! I missed out!”, never fear. You can join this letter writing challenge and work through it at your own pace any time.
