Hello there! My name is Jennie, and I’m so glad you’re here. Little Girl Designs is about a lifestyle of creating and giving with joy. Here you will find encouragement for your creative process, DIY craft ideas, and snapshots of the projects I’ve been working on. I write about how comparison kills creativity and how who you are defines what you do (and not the other way around!)
I also post a weekly Baby Days post–a glimpse into the (mostly) sweet moments of being mommy to a toddler. I love sketching little snippets from our lives together (much easier for me than keeping up with the baby book!) and post these in order to remind myself to keep up with this practice. (Don’t we need encouragement and accountability to do the things we love? I do!)
I believe we all have great creative potential within us because we reflect our Creator God. And I truly believe that as we unleash that creativity, hearts will be healed and the trajectory of our lives will change. We will live more in the moment. We will drink in each day as a gift. Maybe our eyes will be open to new opportunities and different ways to give more. Who knows?
Creativity takes on a million different forms but I personally think it is most beautiful when it is given away.
